What is pH?
On the surface of the epidermis, a hydrolipidic film protects your skin. Its naturally slightly acidic pH (between 4.5 and 6.5) plays a crucial role: it maintains the skin flora in balance, prevents the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms, and preserves the skin's suppleness and hydration.
When this pH is unbalanced (too low or too high), the skin barrier becomes less effective. Redness, tightness, excessive shine, or imperfections can then appear.
At Euforia, each formula is developed with precise pH control to restore and maintain this essential balance, regardless of your skin type.
Choosing the right pH for your skin type
Dry skin (very acidic pH, below 4)
Dry skin usually has a fine texture, sensations of tightness, and a more rapid appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Look for products with a pH above 5 (slightly alkaline or alkaline) to strengthen the skin barrier and preserve your skin's hydration.

Oily skin (alkaline pH, above 5.5)
Oily skin generally shows imperfections, enlarged pores, and persistent shine.
Look for products with a pH lower than or equal to 4.5 and 5 (more acidic) to regulate sebum and limit imperfections.

Normal to combination skin (ideal pH, between 4.5 and 5)
Normal to combination skin has no particular problems, sometimes slight shine on the T-zone.
Look for products with a pH between 4.5 and 6 (versatile range) that are suitable for both slightly dry and slightly oily skin.

Mature skin
Look for products with a pH between 5 and 7, which target loss of firmness, lack of radiance, and increased dryness. They provide overall support to the skin, while preserving its comfort and balance.
