How to choose the right facial products for your skin type
Taking care of your skin starts with understanding it. Each skin type has its own needs, and the secret to a balanced complexion often lies in choosing products suited to its natural pH. Whether your skin is dry, oily, combination, or sensitive, understanding how it works will help you give it what it needs to stay healthy, comfortable, and radiant every day.
Choose the right product according to your skin type
Dry skin
Dry skin typically has a thin texture, feels tight, and develops wrinkles and fine lines more quickly. Its pH is very acidic and below 4.
Look for products with a pH above 5 (slightly alkaline or alkaline) to strengthen the skin barrier and preserve your skin's moisture.
Oily skin
Oily skin typically has imperfections, enlarged pores, and persistent shine. Its pH is alkaline and above 5.5.
Look for products with a pH of 4.5 or lower, and 5 (more acidic) to regulate sebum and limit imperfections.
Normal skin
Normal to combination skin types do not have any particular problems, sometimes a slight shine on the T-zone. Their pH is between 4.5 and 5.5.
Look for products with a pH between 4.5 and 6 (versatile range) that are suitable for both slightly dry and slightly oily skin.
Mature skin
Look for products with a pH between 5 and 7 , which target loss of firmness, lack of shine, and increased dryness.
They provide overall support to the skin, while preserving its comfort and balance.
